2007-2008 15-HOUR INITIAL CERTIFICATION RETAILER AND INSTALLER COURSES
15-HOUR COURSE DESCRIPTION This course is designed to educate retailers and installers, in the manufactured housing industry in Tennessee, for the purpose of applying for certification with the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office as a licensed manufactured housing retailer and installer. Individuals attending this course will receive instruction on the proper and legal aspects of required manufactured home installation. This Course is also needed for employees, of licensed companies, who will be on-site during the installation. Law requires that at least one (1) person on-site must have attended the course and passed the exam. TESTING Once you have completed the 15-Hour course, an exam will be administered, by Professional Credential Services, on the second day. You must Show a photo I.D. in order to take the exam. FEES AND GENERAL TMHA will conduct these classes at the Tennessee Fire Service & Codes Enforcement Academy. The TFSCEA offers a unique opportunity for us to utilize state of the art training facilities, on site dormitory rooms (every two rooms share a joined restroom) and three meals a day (food is great). The fee for the 15-Hour Course is $220 for TMHA members and $245 for non-members. This registration fee includes your $70 exam fee, dormitory room, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please use the enclosed TMHA Registration Form to register for this course, and payment must be submitted with your registration form. Please use one form per registrant. (You may make copies of form as needed.) No refunds will be issued. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. on the first day. The 15-Hour course is limited to the first 50 paid registrants. TMHA reserves the right to cancel courses with an insufficient number of students one week prior to the course date. To register for any course or to reserve a dormitory room or make meal reservation, please read and follow all instructions. Cancellations must be received within 14 days prior to the start of the course. ● Special Accommodations at TFSCEA must be requested on the Registration form. ● Lodging is available on a first come/first serve basis. ● No firearms allowed on property at anytime. ● No Refunds will be issued without two weeks notification, afterwards no refunds will be given.

2007-2008 5-HOUR CONTINUING EDUCATION RETAILER/INSTALLER COURSE
5-HOUR CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE DESCRIPTION This course is designed to serve as a refresher course for Retailers and Installers in the Manufactured Housing Industry for the purpose of renewing the retailer and installer licenses and for re-certification for employees who attended the 15-Hour Course. For the purpose of complying with the law one person on site during the installation must have attended the course and have a pocket I.D. certification card. FEES AND GENERAL The fee for the 5-Hour Course is $75 for TMHA members and $100 for non-members. Please use the TMHA “Registration Form” to register for the course, and payment must be submitted with your registration form. Please use one form per registrant. You may make copies as needed. No refunds will be issued. Lunch will be provided at no additional cost. Registrants will be responsible for making their own hotel room reservations if necessary. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to class start. The 5-Hour Course is limited to the first 50 paid registrants. TMHA reserves the right to cancel courses with an insufficient number of students one week prior to the course date. No firearms are allowed at TFSCEA facilities.

Remember...if you are applying for a license with the
State Fire Marshall's Office, you need the 15-Hour Course and examination
prior to the State issuing you a license. If you currently have a
license, you were issued a pocket I.D. card. You need to attend the 5-Hour
